Jessica Steen

 Jessica Steen is a Canadian actress, appearing in film and television, noted for her work in Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, Homefront, Earth 2, Armageddon, Left Behind: World at War, NCIS, Flashpoint and the CBC series Heartland.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was the daughter of Joanna Noyes (an actress) and Jan Steen (an actor and director). She is of Dutch and Scottish heritage.



 



 Steen is also an animal rights activist and environmentalist, apart from her business in entertainment. Steen supports David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals as well as the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee. She is a certified diver and is proficient in a variety of circus arts - including stilt-walking and fire-twirling.
